Walking allows access to areas that are totally untamed and pristine. There is no better way to explore the sights, sounds and smells of the African wilderness than on foot. Although you may see less game than you would on a vehicle, it’s on foot that you really gain an appreciation of the complexities of the fragile ecosystems and a perspective of our interconnectedness.
Should you opt for a walking safari, you would either hike from camp to camp, or take scenic walks in the early morning or late afternoon as part of the daily activities. The choice is yours.
