The Perfect Sundowner
Posted on 16 September 2011 - by Lee Whittam

Is it the beautiful surroundings, the shared company, the wonderful snacks and your favourite tipple that makes it so special?  Perhaps it’s a memorable event that took place while you were sipping your gin and tonic.  We’d love to hear what makes this occasion the perfect sundowner for you.

My favourite place where we often stopped for sundowners is Zibadianja Lagoon - Linyanti Botswana

Marnie says:
My all-time favourite sundowner was on a boat in the Okavango Delta. We sipped champagne, tried to catch tiger fish, and watched an elephant bull snorkel through the channels ahead of us as the sky turned crimson. Incredible scenery, and wonderful company too! Just beautiful.
Phill says:
Definitely involves" cold beer and fresh biltong"
Anne says:
My best was when we skipped the G&T...flyfishing on the Zambezi was just too exciting...but still had the most incredible sunset!
carole says:
favourite sundowner of many was in the Linyanti, surrounded by elephants. Magical.
