I first met Marius Coetzee when he guided my group on a three day safari at Leopard Hills Lodge.  Since this time, I have sent a myriad of clients from Tzell Travel and Junction Africa Specialists.  The passion, flexibility, incredible planning and energy that Marius displayed made for the most exciting adventure that I have ever experienced.
His immense knowledge of fauna, flora and animal behavior is always amazing to my clients who have taken many trips to Africa.  They always return raving about Marius.  His creative ability to navigate off road driving, ensuring safety of habitat and tourists alike,  gracious relationship with his trackers and most important his respect for and love of animals, country and environment make him an incredible field guide.  He demonstrates great intuitive and leadership abilities as well amongst other guides and trackers in surrounding areas.
Marius has a sense of humor that is most unique and strives to relate to each person he is guiding in a very special way.  He manages to embrace all age and gender levels and develops a sense trust for each person he guides.    Marius is very considerate and his patience in attempting each time to introduce something new to those he guides on a daily basis is what clients marvel at.   He is astounding in his knowledge as a bird watching specialist and especially in the area of photography.   So many clients have commented that their photos have been greatly enhanced by his assistance in knowing the exact time to capture the essence of the moment on safari.
I still marvel at how Marius Coetzee treats each and every safari outing as a most magical experience.
