For the birding enthusiast Africa has no limits. As the summer approaches and game viewing moves into what is erroneously called the “quiet season”, migratory birds return to the continent. The vast difference in terrain and habitat that Africa has to offer ensures that all forms of birding can be practised. Mountainous regions, deserts, wetlands and open savannah are but a few of the habitats on offer for your birding pleasure.
Small groups wishing to do specialised birding can be accommodated and guided by one of our experienced birding guides. This will ensure that you get the best possible local knowledge and that the group you are with shares the same focus. Private birding trips (from one to 8 people) can be organised. Birds to look out for in Southern Africa include the Pels fishing owl, African Shoebill, African Skimmer, and Narina Trogon. Also on offer is an almost endless list of raptors. Pelagic birding trips can be arranged.
