If you’re travelling to Africa with a focus on photography it is absolutely crucial that whoever guides you has a passion for and understanding of the subject that matches yours. The correct positioning of the vehicle, the approach and prediction of what your subject will do next are all key factors which will make the difference between getting the shots and missing them. Being led by a private guide who is in tune with these factors goes a long way in making sure you return home satisfied that you had the best possible photo opportunities.
Because different people have different levels of competency when it comes to photography, we can provide guides who will enhance your photographic knowledge and your technical skills in editing digital images. Workshops can be held each evening at the various lodges to view and critically assess the images captured throughout the day. This way you will continually build on your knowledge and skill level as the safari progresses.
We suggest the use of a private vehicle for a photographic safari as this allows you to have total freedom to photograph whatever you wish and for as long as you wish. All forms of photography are accommodated, from landscape to portrait, and action to stills, to name a few.
