Our guides are dedicated professionals with years of experience and a real passion for sharing their deep understanding of Africa’s wild places. They are also talented photographers, always delighted to offer technical hints and advice to put you in the perfect spot for that shot of a lifetime.
In choosing the privately guided option, your guide travels with you right from the start, sharing his personal knowledge with you and building on each experience as the safari progresses. He also acts as an interface between you and the lodge staff to make sure everything runs smoothly, while you relax and enjoy every moment of your time in Africa. You will have your own private vehicle, which gives you absolute flexibility to plan each day as you please.
If you choose to travel without a private guide, we will always plan your itinerary to include camps where we know the local guides from previous experience. It is often possible to request a specific guide, although we cannot guarantee this.
